Still no Letter!
So i have a few things to show today, and a little goodie for you all, if well your inclined to take it. But before i get to that, i had several people ask me what was the font that i used in the preview of the vintage St. Patricks day cards. The font is Storybook, and it was a free font at DaFont.
Ok.. now i have mentioned this several times, this going to crops thing that i do. Alot of people say.. Ummmm jess.. you digitally scrapbook.. what in the world are you doing going to crops. Well i will tell you. I like them. The crop i go to is FABULOUS! All the ladies are so funny and helpful, everyone kind of does their own thing, and even though i got a tad bit of ribbing when i first started going (as per my supply list) i feel just like one of the group now. Anyway.. at the last crop my LT was in the shop getting its tuneup, so i packed up my paper items and went to get messy with the glue. Claire Hampton, the card fairy herself, runs the crop and is absolutly brilliant with altered items. She is really one of those artsy fartsy types, but thats ok..She owns her own store, and designs for a company called Hampton Art. still tons of fun. So since i have seen her doing these altered items i thought i would try my hand at it. I wanted a recipie box for my kitchen counter.. a nice crafty one. And this is what i did.
So what do you think? Neat eh? I was so impressed. I was able to take just a regular tin, and turn it into this. I think i need to add an alpha that says recipies or something on it. So thats cool. Now i wanted a tin, and a tin this size for recipie cards. I make alot of recipie cards digitally and then take them and print them out 4x6, sometimes i have them laminated and put them on a ring, so i wanted a box to hold them, and also i want to make some more boxes for a gift. So inhonor of my paper and glue fiasco, i have a recipie for you. All you need to do is right click and SaveAs. Save it as a jpg, and the next time you are having your photos printed just include this file, and wallllaaaa a scrapped recipie card. My family and friends are always asking for recipies for certain things, so i thought i would start making these cards public for everyone to snag. I hope you are all garlic fans. This is something i had at a resteraunt called the Stinking Rose in San Francisco, and now it is my favorite appetizer. Just remember.. Right Click.. and save as.
Last but not least i did this completely yummy page last night. I once again had to borrow a girl child from a friend. I don't imagine they complain much as they get these pages in return. Now i dont' usually call anything i do yummy, but as we are talking food, recipies and such.. well i think the pink and ribbons and flowers is just YUMMY!!!!

Ok.. that is it for me. Remember yesterday Vintage St. Patricks Day cards should be good for a month.. so enjoy.
