I Hope

That this doesn't turn into a Saturday blog update blog. but what can I say.. It has been just "that" kind of week and this is the first free moment I have had. Not really a free moment either..

So Monday started with the revelation that my husband finally said we can have a dog. You may not think this is any kind of big deal, but for months now we have been asking for a dog. As in we I mean ME. I have been scouring dog adds looking for everything between a Mastiff and Maltipoo.

Honestly It was me who wanted the dog so I had come to the conclusion that we should have a "chick" dog. Hey lets even up the status quo around here eh? So finally My husband relented and decided we could get a dog. There is only 1 condition... He got to decide the breed. Well great. The man is Scottish after all and I just new I was going to get stuck with something with Terrier in the name, which I completly dislike those kinds of dogs the little yippers. But believe it or not I was pleasantly suprised when he came up with a Lab.

Now getting this man to narrow it down took alot of doing. He didn't want a Black Lab as they have health problems (know idea where he got that). He didn't want a chocolate lab as they are diggers. So we thought about a yellow lab, omg ever since Marley and me the price of those have skyrocketted! So we thought hmmmm maybe a Golden Retriever.. nope to much hair. So thank goodness for my excellent google capabilities.. look what I found!The man finally ran out of excuses and we were able to get this fantastic little puppy!

His name is Koda, He is a yellow labrador and only 8 weeks old. There was a vote with his name, we went back and forth from everything from Killer, Nipper, Buscuit, and ended up with Koda. That was my choice! He is absolutly adorable and follows me around.

This is where he spends much of his time. On my shoulder, or under my feet.. It has taken a little getting used to. But he sure is making a big impression on our family!

The kids absolutly adore him, and have really taken the responsibility seriously. You should just here Brodie telling him "No Nippin" Especially when Koda is Nippin at his ears. Everyone is completly in love.So along with getting a new dog and Turning my life upside down, I also have decided to Enter So You think you can Srap Contest. I havn't entered a contest in a long time and I would sure love the challenge. You can read more about it HERELast but not least I added a bunch of new Lanyard ID badge thingies to my shop today! I will be adding them for the next few days, Go have a look! They are great for everyone. I personally love them when Im at a convention, or for work etc..

Thats it for me.. Koda has fallen asleep at my toes again, so its a great time to finally get dressed!

Nothing makes my sons more grumpy in the morning then mom with her camera. This really must be why I LOVE to do it! So I snapped these this morning as they were trying to wake them selves up. LOL..

You all remember How I talked about Blake. He is the keeper on Grayson soccer team, the one that was recently diagnosed with cancer? Well our shirts finally came in.Yes they are very "PINK" you can see our team coming from a mile away! Which is really the point. To Blakes way of thinking .. he has to loose all of his hair and be uncomfortable for months, the boys can sacrifice and wear pink! I think they look awesome! Keep this child in your thoughts the battle is only beggining.

I have also been working on a new product. One that I really love. Its an electronic Cozy. Motivation

I have none today. Maybe I need a little bit more of this!
I didn't sleep well last night, I kept feeling like something was weighing on my legs, so I wasn't able to properly turn and toss like normal. When I awoke .. I found this!His lame excuse. Daddy is in Colorado so someone needed to keep me company! Then he declared he was sleeping in my room all week.

So I stumble out of my room and I have to pass the laundry room. My husband was the last to do any laundry, and he doesn't know the meaning of "fold" so the laundry room is a disaster with unfolded piles that have probably fallen to the ground only to have to be washed again, because they are now mixed with dirty clothes that the kids just throw on the floor!I folded the towels before he decided he needed the dryer. see how they are neat and stacked?

So today.. I totally need to clean the house. As much as I hate to clean, nobody else is going to do it. Nora Roberts has a new book out. I might buy that and put it on my ipod and just go to town!

I have some new camera straps available and a sneak peak of a few more fabric collections.

So that is it for me today! but isn't that enough?

Some more straps were finished today, and another purse is almost done. The husband is gone for the week, I will feed the kids cereal while he is gone which leaves me with hours of crafting enjoyment! Yes I know.. what a life!

I have new Camera Straps in the store today. I love them ALL. I especially love these one mixed with the white! they are my favorite and really just intime for spring and summer! These two are a little preview of my next purse! I love this fabric combination so I am really excited about getting to work on it this weekend!This last one is In kind of a new area that I havn't seen anywhere. All the camera strap that I see are so girly (which I love) but my husband doesn't. He wouldn't be caught dead wearing it. So it really got me to thinking.. well what about the men.. what do they like.. So this is where the Give Away comes in. Im going to be giving away the strap of your choice to 3 lucky winners. My biggest fan!

Grayson is my biggest fan. This is something that my sister said to me yesterday and it made me realize he really is a fan. Grayson is annoying, hyper, he stalks me thru out the house that sometimes I just want to kill him. On the other hand, he always has a million questions about my work (sometimes not at the right time) He loves most everything I make and Is really honest about the things he doesn't like.

Since I have started selling my creations Grayson has been right there. Check your email mom, see if anyone bought anything yet. He comes home from school and asks about sales. He picks out the fabric in the morning for the next project. And he always has a hug and smile when nobody buys anything. He truly is my biggest fan. One I don't often appreciate enough.

I finished another purse Yesterday, and finally got the photos taken. I love this purse.. I feels so much like spring and summer. It makes me want to wear white pants and strappy sandles!
